Tennis —Rolex Paris Masters

So this is a tournament I’ve never heard of, but which is apparently pretty legit. It started November 1st, yesterday, and does every year. The Rolex Paris Masters ATP 1000 is the biggest tournament in this dead zone of the year, and you know it’s good when Djoker is actually playing.
It’s currently 9:30 am and I am still unmotivated for the day, so I’m plopped on the couch watching tennis. I’m watching the young fiery Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz take on the local young Frenchman Herbert. There’s also quite a few familiar faces in the stands, such as Sebastian Korda of the US, Carreno Busta of Spain, and Jannik Sinner of Italy.
It’s in a first set tiebreak and Herbert is up 6–2. This is good because I’ve a bet on Herbert to win. 10 to win 30. Not bad. I don’t bet real money anymore, but I track them in the Action Network app (bad bets can’t be deleted).
It’s funny because when I used to use real money I would often lose. Since tracking on Action Network, I’m up $500. And, on that note, Herbert just took the first set. C’est la vie, as the French say.
Anyways, this has been your tennis column for the day, because this is a good time to get up and start doing some work. Go Herbert, and looking forward to a good day with tennis on in the background. Hit me up for my Tennis Channel Plus account to watch some great tennis, you boring Football/nonstop-commercial-watching American.
Bonne Journée!
