Increasing our stake in Activision

So this is our first post on this new blog on Medium for Manteau Capital, the business/finance/investing unit at ITFACTOR, and home to the Intuitive Technical Fund (ITF), our collection of stocks we are long on.

Today we are posting our first transparent update to the portfolio, similar to how Jim Cramer is doing now with his Investing Club newsletter.

Now that I am reporting such things in a journalistic manner, I am putting off selling any positions. Since I use Robinhood, albeit at a small scale, and am not aware of any stock pick tracking services that do not involve real money, I’ll be holding all my positions until further notice.

After awhile, you may get a gist of my holdings, which I am expanding past the original Instagram post on Nov 1 on the ITFACTOR account, and which obviously I am breaking precedent with by increasing a position before the end of the month. However, this is the new wave, so hop on it.

To get to the point real quick since that was my original intention, we just increased our holdings in Activision (ATVI) by 2 shares at the price of 62.44 per share. This brings the ITF’s current holdings in Activision to 9.4 shares. We do this because we thought ATVI was already a bargain, and that since it is low on the scandal news from the company, that its time to buy more on the dip.

Activision has the most clout in the videogame industry, and will continue to do so even through this tough period. For the long term, we expect this stock to be up huge from where it is now. Videogames are the future, and Activision is poised just about good as anybody with technical and creative talent to produce great products far and deep into that metaverse everyone keeps raving about. We think it’s a solid move.

*This is not a recommendation to buy or sell any stocks. This is merely a transparent and informative update. We are not advocating for nor speak on behalf of anyone associated directly with any public companies or real ETFs. Manteau Capital is an educational investing entity of ITFACTOR LLC.
