Covid, a month from now
So anyways, I kind of had thought to write an actual story this morning. You know, like fiction? Then I just started writing so I haven’t got the chance yet. How about this, I’ll try to write about the future a month from now, sound good? Here we go:
The day is June 14th. Vaccinations have been slow to pick up and Covid is not yet behind us. However! Mask mandates have been pretty much lifted for those that are vaccinated, so things are a lot better. Indoor dining and walking through town no longer require masks, so a lot of people are out. On the news is blaring how many people are traveling, but so few people are working in vacation towns (Fox News will say it’s the government’s fault because they’re just handing money to people ‘sitting on their couch’). The weather is warm, pretty consistently now, and you might very well be on vacation yourself. Pools are open and there aren’t any more reservations that need to be made to secure your spot. You don’t have to keep pulling up your mask at the grocery store anymore, because no one is wearing any. You and your friends are even talking about buying tickets to that concert coming up next month.
What a time! Can’t wait. In other news, I hope that there are no crises or major shocks that happen in the time from now until then. I wish we can all continue to strive to be better versions of ourselves in the meantime. Have a good day everyone and look forward to more posts soon!
